Now it works fine in xp and I even tested it out with the adat light pipe connected to a ADA8000. Others had warned that the vista drivers just werent ready for distro, and I suspected they were right. Nothing really helped, untill I tried a dual boot with XP as I was using Vista which came on the system.
I was very frustrated to find out that I was getting static, pops and dropouts like many of the other io26 users.
